Allow Me To Explain

Wow. Just wow. I haven't posted a Storyeth or anything on that blog since October. I'm sorry, but once school started, and winter rolled in, I was in absolutely no mood to be writing anything silly. I was definitely not going to be writing about frolicking in the flowers or anything like that in a LONG time. In fact, over the winter, I honestly went through a bit of an emo phase. The stress of seventh grade was really difficult for me to handle. At least the suffering will be over temporarily during the summer. Looking forward to that. But, while I was acting all angry and depressed all the time, new ideas sparked inside of me. I decided to do something I had never really done before: write a scary story to express my most extreme emotions.

Also around the time school started, I heard my first CreepyPasta story. It was one of the more popular ones. I heard the story of Jeff the Killer. (I prefer to listen to CreepyPasta on YouTube rather than read it off the website) I'll admit, my immediate emotion after listening to that story was fear. If you know me really well, you would be shocked at that. You really wouldn't expect a horror junkie like me to be scared at an extremely unrealistic CreepyPasta story. However, I was not afraid that Jeff the Killer would climb through my window and kill me. No, I wouldn't give a chicken butt if that happened. What really scared me was how he just snapped and went insane. Yes, I recognized that it was nothing but a story, but I knew that seventh grade was going to be the most difficult year so far. I was afraid that I could snap the same way he did. So I thought, "What if I did actually just start randomly murdering people?" Of course, I did not really do such things. But, as I briefly mentioned before, I dealt with a lot of anger. I had to channel my anger in a productive and positive way somehow. My solution was to write a fictional story involving fictional characters. It is my way of getting "revenge" on what has hurt me.

I get a lot of inspiration from various CreepyPasta stories I listen to. Strangely, it tends to be the less popular stories that are my favorites. My favorite classic stories are the stories of Laughing Jack and Clockwork. However, I really like "The Showers." I recommend you listen to all three parts on MrCreepyPasta's YouTube channel if you have an hour and a half to kill.

Anyway, on this blog, I am posting stories I've worked really hard on. Most posts will be at least a little bit scary. Like most CreepyPasta stories. However, though they are fiction, they do contain nuggets of truth within them. Each story I write will also have some sort of a message in them. So now you know what this blog is all about. I plan to make it mostly stories, but I'll also be posting about other scary things. Not entirely sure yet, but I think I like where this is going.

  1. I would just like to mention: I'm not trying to plagiarize anything. I did get a lot of inspiration from creepypasta.com and Chilling Tales for Dark Nights. That's where I got the idea for the name and format of this blog.
